The Order of the Daughters of the King is a holy order for women and girls of the Episcopal Church and of churches in communion with it. Today our membership includes, in addition to Episcopal women, those of the Anglican communion, Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) and Roman Catholic Church. Daughters take life-time vows to pray daily, to commit to service and evangelism, all directed toward spreading Christ's Kingdom. The Order's purpose is to bring others into a living, loving relationship with Jesus and to help strengthen the spiritual life of our churches. You will know us by our acts and by the wearing of the cross of the order, our "habit."
The Betty Evans Chapter of the Daughters of the King was chartered at Christ Church on September 14, 2025 with 12 women taking vows. We meet monthly on the 3rd Sunday between services, at 9 AM in the parish house. Our meetings are directed towards supporting each other in sisterhood and seeking and acting upon opportunities to pray for and serve those in need.
Current chapter members are:
Mary Jo Atterholt
