Every fall, the Episcopal Church has a Blessing of the Animals in celebration of St. Francis of Assisi, who was known for his love of nature and animals. Parishioners bring their dogs, cats, turtles, birds, or whatever pet they want to be blessed by the priest. It's a fun, heartwarming service.

Pets make new friends and impress parishioners with their quirky personalities, and sometimes, with their Sunday best behavior.
