About the event
The Rt. Rev'd Gayle E. Harris, Assistant Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Virginia, will be visiting this Sunday and will confirm and receive members of Christ Church Parish during the 10:30 service. There will be only the 10:30 service this Sunday. Following the 10:30 service, there will be a Pot Luck Luncheon honoring the Bishop and those confirmed and received. Thank you to the Brotherhood, who will be providing fried chicken. Please bring a side dish to share. We are looking for casseroles, green bean dishes, salads, mac and cheese, and other dishes, as well as some delicious desserts.
