Beginning on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays (July 2nd and 16th) at 10:15, in the Great Hall, our next series will be on the Saints, this time starting with Joan of Arc. Martin Scorsese's The Saints is an 8-part docudrama. After Joan of Arc, our series will explore John the Baptist, Sebastian of Rome, and Maxmillian Kolbe. The final four will feature Francis of Assisi, Mary Magdalene, Moses the Black, and Thomas Becket. Reviews have been very positive with excellent remarks on the lack of stereotypes for these historic figures.
We have found these video series to be educational and thought provoking. Everyone is welcome to any or all sessions. Just come to see for yourselves!
