Colonial Evening Prayer

As part of the Urbanna Founders’ Day Celebration and Christ Church Parish’s 350th Anniversary Celebration, everyone is invited to Colonial Evening Prayer. The Reverend Stuart Wood will conduct the service of Evening Prayer in the Middlesex County Women's Club building (originally the Epiphany Chapel of Christ Church Parish) located at 210 Old Virginia Street, Urbanna, VA. The service will be conducted from the 1662 Church of England Prayer Book which would have been in use at the time of the founding of Urbanna. The Reverend Wood is the Interim Rector at Christ Church Parish which was founded in 1666.
